More payment choices for faster payments

Did you know that over 50% of small businesses are stuck waiting on unpaid invoices? That’s a lot of cash tied up. With online payments, you can get paid up to 9 days sooner, and when you combine online invoices with online payments, your clients can settle their bill in just 2 clicks.

Whether you’re already accepting online payments or planning to start, we’re rolling out a big upgrade in the Invoice Maker app – more payment methods via Stripe. This means happier clients, faster payments, and more flexibility for your business.

More ways to pay, no matter where your clients are

We’re always looking for ways to make your invoicing experience smoother and we listen closely to what our users want. In a recent survey, you told us that while online payments are already appreciated for their speed, convenience, and ability to get you paid faster, you’d like to see more payment method options.

We’ve taken that feedback on board and expanded the online payment methods available through Stripe to include popular local and international options used by millions of people every day. These payment methods are trusted, widely adopted in their respective countries or regions, and designed to make paying your invoices easier than ever.

Here’s why this matters for your business:

  • Clients pay how they want — whether by card, mobile wallet, or local bank transfer.
  • Faster payments — fewer obstacles mean clients settle invoices quicker.
  • Better coverage for global customers — accept payments across the US, UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and beyond.

The new payment methods you can enable

In addition to cards, Google Pay, and Apple Pay, you can now offer:

  • ACH (U.S. Bank Debits) – Ideal for U.S. clients, ACH allows direct bank-to-bank payments. Great for large or recurring invoices thanks to low fees and high reliability.
  • Bacs (UK Direct Debit) – Popular in the UK for subscriptions, bills, and repeat invoices. Secure, predictable, and well-trusted by customers.
  • BECS (Australia & New Zealand) – Local direct debit system used widely by businesses for recurring or high-value transactions.
  • SEPA Bank Transfers (Europe) – Seamless euro payments across European countries with low fees and strong security.
  • iDEAL (Netherlands) – The number one payment method in the Netherlands. Fast, bank-integrated, and trusted by over 90% of Dutch online shoppers.
  • TWINT (Switzerland) – A leading Swiss mobile payment app, perfect for customers who want to pay instantly via smartphone.

How to enable the new methods

  1. Open “Settings” and go to “Payment Methods” in your Invoice Maker app.
  2. Click Stripe Payments and you’ll be redirected to Stripe to connect or configure your account.
  3. Once set up, return to Billdu and toggle on your preferred payment methods.

And you’re ready to start accepting more payment types instantly.
