Billdu News and Updates March 2016

Spring is slowly here and our developers have spent all the cold days dutifully developing, improving and debugging your favorite invoicing app! We have a lot to show you in this month’s news and updates – both the web version as well as the mobile versions of Billdu have been pimped out with several new features big and small. Read on, for a breakdown of all that is new and what lies in wake for Billdu this year.

Modules for online stores

This time, let’s not keep the best for last, shall we? After the long wait and many times our users have shown their interest, Billdu now shares its API. It is now even more convenient to generate professional invoices and to manage and ship orders automatically. All orders are automatically transferred to Billdu where you can easily edit them and change their status. All documents can be sent directly to your accounting.

Billdu supports Opencart 1.5, OpenCart 2.0 and Prestashop modules for now, but soon there will be support added for Shopify, Magento, Woocomerce and hopefully others. You will find the links to modules on our website with more detailed information. All modules are free to download and require no additional charges to use.

Web version

Expense duplication

We’ve added the duplication feature you know from our invoices section into the expenses section, to make duplication possible for all documents you create and store. Now you can track your business expenses and manage your expense section more easily.

Enhanced search function

Furthermore, the client and items sections now have a search function for all you big players with endless lists of clients and customers to sort through.

Mobile iOS version

Received orders

As per usual, our version for iPhones and iPads was not left behind out of the newest update from our developer’s workshop. You can now create and manage your received invoices in your smartphone or tablet as well.

Change language

Additionally, we’ve added the option to choose the language and currency on your invoice, directly while creating it. You can always change the language later in invoice Details.

Improved filters

The statistics section has been also dusted off as it has the filters. We’ve added more filter options (Last year, This month, Today and Yesterday) and ironed out a few bugs that caused the statistics section problems when synchronizing across different devices.

Automatic inapps

As a special treat for our iOS users we’ve updated the subscription section, which now lets you opt in for the automatic prolonging of your monthly or yearly subscription through your App Store account (from which you can opt out at any time, of course).

Supplementary address line

It is also worth mentioning, that our developers added another input field for both the client and the supplier (you or your company), which is the “Street 2” input. You can either add a secondary address, if the delivery address differs from the invoicing address, or to simply fill out more details, like the contact person or floor and apartment number.

In the upcoming weeks we will be working hard to bring you another batch of tasty news and updates as soon as possible, in the meantime, leave your wishes and needs for the Billdu app in the comments because you never know, what might stick.
